Spark Minda Foundation (SMF) has bagged the Award for Top Community Care Companies in Asia. The award was received at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES), 2016 held at Hotel Shangri-La, Singapore on 17th November, 2016.
The award has been won under Community Care Category for working in the vertical of Education, Livelihood Promotion, Community Healthcare & Infrastructure, Environment & Resource Protection and Care for Persons with Disability.
The award was received by Mrs. Sarika Minda, chairperson, Spark Minda Foundation, Mr. Praveen karn, Head Group CSR.
Spark Minda Foundation is a section 8 Company under Companies Act 2013, Government of India established in December, 2014 to implement the Corporate Social Responsibility projects of Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group.
The organizing committee of this event was MORS Group. After a 3 month, long due diligence at the plant premises of our Business Group Company – PTMAI, the organizing committee testified SMF as a worthy recipient of the title with holding the regional benchmark of this award. A total of 44 out of 187 countries were awarded.
The ACES Awards seek to offer an ideal platform for leaders to take pride of the leadership excellence, to learn, to build connections, and exchange new ideas while MORS Group continues to showcase Asia’s best practices for sustainable growth. During the ceremony, a select few top entrepreneurs were also honored for their achievements. Some of these being – TCS, ING Vyasya, Vedanta etc.
MCL-PN received TV 100 Industrial Excellence Award in Training & livelihood, for their remarkable contribution to the society through Aakarshan Vocational Training Center and other CSR initiatives on 26th Feb 2016.
Award was given by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Mr.Harish Rawat & Hon’ble Minister of Industrial Development, Finance & Parliamentary Affairs Uttarakhand, Mrs. Indira Hridayesh. The Award was received by Mr. RCS Negi, Head HR/ P&A and Mr. LM Joshi, Head Operations from Spark Minda, Ashok Minda Group.
